The lunch special prices and portion sealed the deal! It's also nice their lunch hour is until 3 p.m. Plus under $10 can get you a gigantic burrito (literally big enough for three meals for me). The free chips and salsa were also quite addicting to eat before the meal.

This place has not changed in decades. If you need to get your 80's mauve color fix. This is the place to be. The place is clean. Staff is polite. The salsa has some heat. Which is nice for me. The food excellent

One of only a few sit down dining restaurants in our small town, this place rarely disappoints. I love their steak fajitas and also their arroz con pollo. They also make a great tortilla soup. Most of the staff are very friendly and the restaurant is always clean.

So I come home to visit but also to shove my fat face full of delicious foods. El Caporal is one of those places you stop in at. Prices are a little high, salsa isn't the best, but Dammmmmnnnn they make a good enchilada and a damn good chile relleno. They aren't afraid of cheese either and I like the way that deliciousness smothers my fork and slides down the belly like a slip n slide. So good. Salsa needs some work, and prices seem high but I guess when they are that generous with the cheese you can't complain.

Visiting from California. Friends brought us here. Place was nice clean and staff was friendly and accommodating. Food was nice and hot and delicious. Thank you.
